These tunes are for customers that already have the HP Tuners Remote ECU Tuning Device (Or MVPI2/MVPI3) for Sea Doo Switch 230HP Base Models For 2022-2025 Models Looking for the best/most badass ECU tuning available for your Switch? AA's performance tunes are readily available to gain horsepower and torque. Through our advanced ECU tuning we are able to modify parameters correctly to gain you the power needed. We are highly experienced in tuning these ECU types and this will show. We go for the most horsepower allowable on that fuel, but also make sure mid range power is greatly increased.... all wrapped into a tested tune that is safe to run all day. The Switch 230 has very mild tuning from the factory. Through data logging and many trial tunes, we were able to come up with the best recipe for great power. As we have tuned BRP products for years, we could easily compare other products and higher HP watercraft files to the 230 switch. We then slowly pushed the limits of timing with different air/fuel ratios to increase power. The mid range grunt these gain with tuning is the biggest gain, and this helps them get to top speed much quicker and usually gains 1-3mph. Many others claim +30hp with their 91-93 octane tunes, but we know from experience this is not the case and quite simply not possible without increasing boost pressure. While we believe our mid range power may be 20+ hp gains, the peak power is shown in RPM increases, and we estimate it to be roughly 240-250hp output peak. Gains 3/4 to 1 second when testing 4-40mph! Acceleration graphs were done using the Dragy device and phone application. Wind was calm at 2-3mph and tests were all done without any added waves from other boats, and on the same course within reason. Tests were all started from idle speed(3mph) straight to wide open throttle. Test were done as consistently as possibly. If your device was purchased elsewhere, you'll need to get those from HP tuners directly, or if your device was originally purchased through AA, you can purchase credits HERE Great peak horsepower gains with big mid range power gains Much quicker throttle response and power delivery giving a whole new feel to the vehicle Throttle by wire limiters disabled Rev limit at a safe 8600 RPM (stock is 8050). AA's wicked timing curve is safe for the fuel used, but we do a much better job of finding timing limits for ramp up/more torque. Many others simply focus on wide open throttle timing/fueling. The Switch timing curve is extremely mild from the factory, and this is where most gains are made. Engine safety: Our tunes utilize and properly reconfigure the knock adaption system in the stock ECU. This system is very well designed to sense engine knock and retard ignition timing well before any motor issues would arise. This means you have motor safety built in that is extremely well done, and works fantastic. AA's modified fuel curve will still get decent mileage cruising but a little less than factory. Our fueling is corrected over the factory lean AFR when needed and richer in key areas. Level 1: 87-89 octane tune with an estimated 235-240hp and big mid range gains Level 2: 91-93 octane with an estimated 245-250hp and huge mid range gains We have also done a HUGE amount of testing with different impellers and nose cones/nozzle to increase peak RPM. These vehicles will make more boost/power at a higher RPM due to spinning the supercharger faster. Pick up our AA Machined Nozzle for an extra 10-200 RPM. AA impellers are in the works! With the AA impeller for an extra 200-300 RPM over stock. This combined with the nose cone will bump your horsepower output to 250-270 due to the 2-3psi extra boot at that RPM. The same tune will run excellent at the higher RPM. This results in extremely noticeable faster acceleration over just the tune, and normally another 1-2mph. For reference, our stock 18ft 230hp switch would run 42-43mph stock and take forever to get there. With a tune it would run 44-45mph and much more consistent. With the tune and machined nose cone and/or impeller to make 8000-8400 RPM it will run 45-46mph almost anywhere, and even into the wind. MPH gain is not huge as this hull is tough to make faster, BUT acceleration is wicked fun and top speed is so much easier to achieve. They are also much better performing when pulling a tube.Why AA tunes over others? �We have been tuning powersports vehicles for a long time and know how to properly test through data logging and reviews/changes. Really it comes down to us having a Switch and wanting to get everything out of it ourselves.... we truly push for the max and are constantly trying to get more out of it.
