AA custom Impeller for 2022+ Sea Doo Switch 230 models Looking for a little lower cruising RPM and more low end dig? This impeller is designed just for that. This will lower peak RPM, but we found top speeds to be the same as stock, or sometimes a little better in the right conditions. When testing, we saw 7400-7500 max RPM, where stock would run 7800-7900 RPM. So you'd expect roughly a 400-500 RPM loss with this impeller. The lower RPM will push the Switch along at a lower RPM when cruising as well, which usually makes fuel economy increase. Acceleration/power output won't be as great as a higher RPM impeller, but this is a great happy medium impeller that is not too low on RPM, but low enough to increase efficiency. We always suggest a new wear ring when installing a new impeller. We always personally stay with and highly suggest plastic. They are much easier to change out if you have an issue, and we believe it's best to have a weak spot. Since the AA impeller is much stronger, it's important for the wear ring to give out.
