AA/HP Tuners RTD4 tuner with ECU Unlock & Transmission Tune for 2024+ Maverick R 240hp Models ** Requires ECU to be sent in to HP Tuners be unlocked UNLESS purchasing ECU outright or exchanging ECU's** After the initial unlock, the ECU can now be flashed at any time using your smart phone. Standard Unlock Process(Average 5-10 business days) : Within 1 business day after purchase, we will send you instructions on sending your ECU to HP tuners. You will be responsible for shipping the ECU to HP tuners. Once at HP tuners, the ECU will take 1-5 business days for HP tuners to unlock. Your ECU will then be sent back via standard ground shipping. Turnaround time greatly varies on your location and how long ground shipping takes to/from HP tuners. Express Unlock Process(Average 3-5 business days): **For the continental US 48 states ONLY** We will send you a UPS Next Day Air label and instructions. You will need to attach this label to your own ECU package, then give the package to your local UPS drop-off location. Once at HP tuners, the ECU will take 1-5 business days for HP tuners to unlock. The ECU will then be sent back to you via Next Day shipping. All other parts on the express flash order will be shipped ground unless otherwise specified/selected during order checkout. �Keep in mind we cannot guarantee same day programming or control UPS shipping times/delays. �We will do everything possible to turn the ECU around as fast as possible. This will require BRP/Can Am BUDS2 software to program the blank ECM to your vehicle. Your gauge cluster stores the ECU information, so this can only be done by bringing the vehicle to a local shop. Many shops have this software, and all BRP/Can Am dealers have this as well. You'd want to find a local shop willing to complete the job for you before purchasing this ECU option. Exchange Unlocked ECU: THIS REQUIRES BRP CAN AM BUDS2 SOFTWARE OR A WILLING DEALER TO PROGRAM. The exchange ECU will come to you unlocked ,but blank, with no program. This will require BRP/Can Am BUDS2 software to program the blank ECM to your vehicle. Your gauge cluster stores the ECU information, so this can only be done by bringing the vehicle to a local shop. Many shops have this software, and all BRP/Can Am dealers have this as well. You'd want to find a local shop willing to complete the job for you before purchasing this ECU option. These ECU's will normally look used, but in good operating condition. If worried about the looks/outside condition of the ECU, we suggest simply purchasing one outright. The core charge is $995 for this ECU. We will refund $795 when your core ECU returns. In the end, this ends up costing $200 more than the standard unlock process, but saves time. ENSURE you INSURE your ECU for $700. �AA is not responsible for shipping delays or lost ECUs. While more expensive over Priority Mail or FedEx, UPS has been the most reliable carrier in our experience. Through our advanced ECU tuning we are able to modify parameters correctly to gain you the power needed. We are highly experienced in tuning these models and this will show. We have been using our AA boost box to increase turbo boost pressure for some time. This greatly plays into our ECU tuning results as we know what the limitations already are. The ECU flash allows us to better get around torque limitations, increase rev limits, remove speed limits, and improve performance through the transmission calibration. Big horsepower gains depending on the level of tune/modifications (see below tune descriptions for more details) Much quicker throttle response and power delivery giving a whole new feel to the vehicle AA's wicked timing curve is safe for the fuel octane recommended, but we do a much better job of finding timing limits for ramp up/more torque. �Many others simply focus on wide open throttle timing/fueling. � AA's modified fuel curve will still get good mileage cruising, but will come in richer than OEM during spool. The OEM fueling curve is extremely rich at wide open throttle for emissions purposes, so we correct this with an air/fuel ratio that makes more power and is actually safer for the motor. Throttle by wire limiters disabled Fan on/off is to 193/184 Degrees F. Stock is 203/194 Intercooler fan thresholds turned down for better air charge cooling Rev limit at 9200 (Stock is 8500) Speed limiter removed in high gear, and increased in low range. Top speed depends on vehicle resistance vs. power but will usually run over 105mph with pump gas tuning, and well over that with higher HP levels. 2 foot limits removed (gas/brake at the same time) Seatbelt limiter disabled Over boost, under boost, and intake plenum leak code parameters are desensitized Torque limitations are properly raised Throttle by wire adjustments per drive mode/gear give a the vehicle a snappy feel without being overly sensitive Transmission tuning: Our trans calibration is build into every tune an varies just a bit depending on that calibration power level. It slightly increases line pressure at higher RPM's to get away from clutch slip when running larger tunes, and to give the best overall transmission performance and reliability. We also developed a shift schedule that made sense. We smoothed out shifting in low range/lower RPM's/lower gears for better technical ability. We slightly did the same for high range low throttle input situations. Then we get to the fun part; increased shift RPM's in high range at higher RPM's/throttle positions. This gives the Mav R a whole new feel as it keeps pulling RPM out for awesome wheel speed before grabbing the next gear. This drastically increases acceleration! AA Custom Tune Options : For reference, our stock Mav R on our dyno was 225 RWHP with 32" tires and runs roughly 19-20 PSI of boost. �All power levels listed below are done with the stock exhaust. � Level 1: (91-93 Octane): Level 1 stock power level, but has all the limitations removed and our transmission calibration. This is a tune for those not looking for any more power, just better running and drivability. Level 2: 91-93 Octane - �232RWHP / 250-255 crank HP: �Our Level 2 tune is just a little bump in power when not wanting full squeeze. �This tune runs an average of 21-22psi (+1-2psi) of boost and is a very safe with great gains on 91 octane fuel.�Gains 8-10rwhp in the mid range. �Great tune when you want just a little bit more. Level 2 ECO: 91-93 Octane - 225-230rwhp / 245-250 Crank HP: Same as the above tune, but with a leaner fuel curve and adjusted parameters for better fuel economy. We've raced distance races and trail ridden this tune, so we know it gets considerably better economy, especially if your a driver that likes to hammer the throttle often. If you are low speed cruising, the results are not huge over the standard level 2, but above 4500 RPM, this tune greatly helps fuel economy, and is extremely powerful/reliable. Oftentimes we can go another 15-20 miles per tank over a stock or standard tune. This will greatly vary depending on riding conditions and style. Level 3: 91-93 Octane - 240 RWHP / 265-270 crank HP: �Our Level 3 tune is again designed for 91-93 octane and is very safe. This gains 17-20rwhp in the mid range. �This tune is absolutely nuts for being able to run on a bone stock Mav R. �Peak boost is around 23-25psi(+2-3psi), and settles down to roughly 22-23 PSI. ��Our blow off valve kit is recommended. �This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. �� Level 3.5: 93+ Octane MAX pump gas tune - 255 RWHP Stock Exhaust/ 261rwhp AA Exhaust Open / 285-290 crank HP: �Our Level 3.5 tune puts the hammer down on 93+ octane! �It will peak around 26-27 PSI and sustain around 24-25PSI(+4-5psi). �This gains a huge 36rwhp in the mid range gain over factory! ��Our blow off valve kit is highly recommended. �This tune will work great with stock exhaust but even better with aftermarket exhaust. � If running hard (like in the dunes) we'd suggest running 93 octane or bumping up 91 with booster as 93-95 octane (or better) works best to maintain proper power under heavy loads. �This tune will run on 91 octane in short bursts, but we do not suggest it for long periods of time. Level 4: 98+ Octane - 260 RWHP Stock Exhaust/ 270rwhp AA Exhaust Open / 300-310 crank HP: �Our Level 4 tune puts the hammer down on 98+ octane! �It will peak around 27-28 PSI and sustain around 25-26PSI(+5-6psi). �This gains a huge 41rwhp in the mid range gain over factory! ��Our blow off valve kit is highly recommended. �This tune will work great with stock exhaust but much better with aftermarket exhaust. � Level 5 for 110 octane and level 6 for E85 are coming soon with large injector tuning. Max boost levels are listed as reference only. Altitude, temperature, charge temps, intercooler temps and many other conditions play into a factor of final boost output.� The Mav R is quick out of the box, but why stop there? �The potential for the Maverick R is so much more. �The intake, turbocharger and intercooler that come factory on this model make it easy to crank up the horsepower & still maintain low intake temps. �We are very impressed by what this UTV can do out of the gate with very few modifications. �The factory seemed to make the boost come on a bit lazy in the mid to upper throttle even in sport +. While it peaks out nicely around 19-20 PSI (at our location, 1000ft altitude) it takes a bit to get there. �Our tuning increases spool, overall boost and also makes peak boost come on quicker. �You'll see some huge performance gains! Not just dyno tested! We are avid riders and like the factory, a ton of the testing is done in the field to make sure you are getting 110%. �You simply can't get any better testing than real world. �Often times we can make significant changes to further increase power, drivability, and feel of the machine that can never be done on the dyno. ����We have a longer history of tuning turbocharged offroad vehicles than nearly all competitors and this will show.
